This comprehensive 4-day camp with Kevin Secours will explore a progressive treatment of combat,
including:
Day 1-Dirty Boxing and Entering: Learn how to control your range and enter and exit safely against an opponent. We will look at scalable force options, including the difference between pure survival, protecting loved ones, and seeking to restrain a subject. Your objective will massively influence your tactics.
Day 2-Feral Clinching and Control: Clinching is reality. If you don't know the fundamentals of this range, it can be difficult to prevail. On day 2, you will learn how to stay safe when there is no time left to process the threat. This will include a study of cloth grips and escapes. Martial arts belts will be provided for everyone to serve as lapels, so you don't have to worry about shredding your t-shirts.
Day 3-Ground Fighting and Recovery: The focus on day 3 will be surviving the ground through any means necessary, feral street escapes for common positions, and recovery to standing positions. Come and learn new ideas for ensuring your safety when you find yourself on the ground.
Day 4-Knife Defense: Finally, we will conclude with one of the most daunting topics in self-defense-. With knife attacks on the rise, having clear strategies for early detection, avoidance, and no-nonsense survival is more important than ever before. Come and experience a safe and practical exploration of the reality of the blade and bring your skills to the next level.
